Faculty of Management

The Faculty of Management is one of the largest faculties of the University of Lodz, which is constantly developing and adapting to the needs of the market, updating programs and introducing new areas of study. The faculty was the first in Poland in the field of social sciences to receive the highest institutional assessment of the Polish Accreditation Committee, and in the parametric assessment of scientific departments, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education announced a high scientific category A.

 MODERN RESEARCH PROGRAMS OF THE MANAGEMENT FACULTY ACCEPTED TO THE LABOR MARKET REQUIREMENTS

• development of training programs for the profession; 
• consultations with business partners; 
• introduction of modern forms of training:
• great interactivity;
• high involvement of students and teachers, restriction of the form of lectures for discussions, presentations and simulation games;   
• instead of “listen and repeat” we introduce the “understand and do” model; 
• emphasis on classes that form specific skills; 
• a new subject in the first semester of study: “Development of professional skills” provides tools that will facilitate the study and use of the active elements of the program
• building a path of professional development,
• time management methods of business communication;
• business English in the curriculum;
