In 1991, Lodz University was the first university in Poland to start research in its field: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. The didactic proposal under the guidance was gradually supplemented and updated in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna system and the National Qualifications Framework, scientific priorities of the state and labor market needs. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has qualified as strategic areas for the development of the national economy.
In order to ensure interdisciplinarity and a high level of education in the field of ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, a significant part of the classes is conducted by employees of other departments of the University of Lodz: geographical sciences, chemistry, economics and sociology, management, law and administration, philosophy and history, as well as teachers from the Lodz University of Technology. The training is also attended by practitioners working in institutions related to environmental protection.
