Although art and design have various definitions, they can simply be described as a means of expression of an artist or a designer formed within the framework of aesthetical concerns. While artworks fulfill the need of aesthetics of the human being, the functionality for design outshines. Today art and design are regarded not as single disciplines but a field where different disciplines come together on the base of a competent theoretical background. Thus our Faculty of Art and Design with its departments of Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Film Design, Animation and Music integrate art and design and put into a practice of uptodate form of traditional art and design education.
The most important advantage of the departments of the Faculty of Art and Design is equipping the students with comprehensive basic education and facilitating the track for them to find their own design character through applied courses.
