The undergraduate program in finance (BFIN) prepares students with in-depth knowledge of the following: theory and application of corporate finance; Fundamentals of investment analysis and portfolio management; the nature, structure and functions of financial institutions; regulation, supervision and management of financial institutions. Upon successful completion of the BFIN program, students will be able to: describe and apply capital investment planning methods in evaluating investment decisions; demonstrate analytical and computational skills in determining the optimal level of capital structure; analyze the current business and investment climate (domestic and international), including analysis of the impact of changes on exchange rates, interest rates and inflation, on the adoption of investment decisions and decisions in the framework of portfolio management; Explain and apply portfolio performance assessment methods demonstrate knowledge in the analysis of financial statements of banks, banking operations and productivity; describe financial rules and supervision requirements, demonstrate computational skills in calculating capital adequacy ratio; Describe and apply the concepts and theories of ethics in the field of finance.
