The program aims to prepare students for work in international projects and organizations, government bodies, non-governmental sector, as well as in private law firms and commercial organizations. Therefore, the emphasis of the program during training is on the development of general cultural, general professional and professional competencies with specialization in international public law and commercial law in order to prepare a new generation of lawyers who will be active participants in the transformation of society towards strengthening the rule of law. Our program is based on a combination of the best traditions of liberal American and Central Asian education with an individual approach to each student. The program has the following tasks: • Attracting the best applicants through selection (additional entrance exams in English, mathematics, essays) and training within the framework of the Academy of the New Generation program, as well as the preparatory department; • Creation of an educational program taking into account the requirements of the domestic and international labor market with the aim of creating general cultural, general professional and professional competencies; • Attraction of qualified teachers with diplomas of international standard and continuous professional development of teaching staff; • Regular updating of the curriculum and learning outcomes with the participation of stakeholders, the introduction of new courses with the aim of developing students' professional skills (legal writing, lawyer's skills, educational game court, legal clinic, international competitions), as well as the systematic updating of the educational and methodical base using innovative methods and technologies of education (electronic courses, electronic library, etc.); • Implementing the principle of student-centered learning by providing flexible learning paths using regular feedback (regular assessment of courses by students and the presence of a mechanism to respond to student complaints) and support student autonomy; • Internationalization of the program through the conclusion of international agreements with universities and organizations on academic cooperation (exchange of students and teachers, joint training programs and summer schools); • Ongoing cooperation with government bodies, non-governmental and commercial organizations (local and foreign) for internships by students in order to test the learning outcomes; • Social service to society through the provision of free legal aid (legal clinic) and the development of a legal culture and the rule of law through research, the organization of socially significant events (the annual national training court on constitutional justice “Adilet” in conjunction with the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and international organizations, etc.).
