The Department of History, Philosophy and Religious Studies is part of the Nazarbayev University School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The department offers students undergraduate programs in the specialty "History", as well as a number of non-core subjects in the field of history, philosophy and religious studies. In addition, our faculty make a significant contribution to the Master's program in Eurasian Studies. Our multidisciplinary department strives to improve research and teaching activities in all areas of knowledge that it offers. We believe that teaching should go hand in hand with research. That is why all the courses offered are taught by qualified and leading specialists in their fields of knowledge.
